Hells canyon steelhead

Hi all, New to the forum but not to fishing has anyone been doing any good at hells canyon dam for steel yet? Also I live in boise area I'm starting to build my own spinners and jigs any place close carry components for building spinners and jigs? Thanks

Things have slowed down the past week and a half or so but we were averaging over 100 hook ups per day on the middle snake river. Those fish should be up at the dam by now and fishing should be stellar!

Thanks steelheadkid I'm sure we will have a stellar season hopefully the Dr. will release me so I can go get a few myself... Have you heard anything about the salmon or little salmon up by riggins...

I see F&G is moving some hells canyon fish to the Boise river... I have never fished the boise river anyone have any suggestions on parking and bank fishing areas that a guy might have a chance to nail a fish...
