Heading to Henrys on Fri and Sat.

I am planning on heading to Henrys on Friday and Saturday. Hope to run into some of you guys there. I am torn between the county boat dock and the cliffs. So I don't know where I'll be. I'll be in a white F-150 with 1A plates. Say hello if you see me there.

Does anyone have an update on the ice conditions?

First of the week went up and the ice was great 4 to 5 inches.Fished by the cliffs and it was slow in the deeper water. So we went over buy the outlet in shallower water and it picked up. lots of brookies pulled out over there and less people. So i would recommend on shallower water.So good luck maybe i will see out there friday.I want to fish islandpark but the ice over there scary. 2 inches of ice maybe three and 5 inches of snow on top of that not for this kid maybe 1st of december.

I'm still trying to get clearance from the boss (wife) to head up there on Monday for the last day. I have to work through the weekend. I just got my new auger in (nils master hand auger) in from Cabela's. I really want to try it out without having to wait for Ririe to cap. If anyone else plans on going that way on Monday let me know.

Texan64 told me today he is going to try and make it up there on Monday . He just got a new power auger he wants to try out . Maybe you guys can hook up . I have to work day shift through monday , so I am going to hit Island Park on Tuesday . Good luck if you get to go . Curt G.

i havnt decided but i will be there friday or saturday one or the other probably saturday i will be by the county boat dock in a red toyota pickup with a beat up front end and a green eskimo 2 person ice pop up shante ill let you guys know tomorrow for sure wich day.

Henry's was a little slow chrome_junky caught 3 and I caught zero.

Today there was 5-6 " of ice at the county ramp. From 10-12 am I saw 3 caught between a dozen adults and half that many kids fishing. Moved to where the outlet starts and caught a cutt and a brook as soon as I put on a fluorescent green crappie jig tipped w/ worm. 5" of ice in 7.5' of water and about 200-250' out from shore. Then the wind kicked up (3:30pm) and the toddler was getting cold. Mostly sunny and what seemed like 25- 30' about noon. 13' at 10am.

we were fishing about a hundred yards off the county boat ramp also with the three i caught. fishdicked lost one monster and i lost 2 monsters all three looked like they were in the 7 to 8 pound range. pink paddle bugs with meal worms were the key for us and only if you were slow jigging them if they were holding still the fish wouldnt touch them
