Any herd any thing on mud lake? I wonder if any thing in there or they all died off.

I was on Mud Lake on Saturday with the fishing contributor for the Rexburg Standard. He guides Henry's during the summer and wrote the book Fishing Henry's Lake. Anyway the ice was about 6 3/4". The bottom however looked like the Sahara Desert. There was no foilage and no fish. It looks like the lake has been killed off by a herbacide dump. Pretty considering all of the youth that use this lake throughout the winter. We did have some coyotes, moose, geese and a few Trumpeter Swans to keep us company. No fish and no bites.
