Strawberry 01-02-10

[cool]

Hit Strawberry this morning at 6:30. Headed straight out from Marina to 10' - 23' of water. Fished with 3.5" Radical Glow Tubes in Chartreuse and Shad White. My buddy Alvin had four fish on the ice before I even had a bite. All in all we ended up with 12 fish a piece. 24 fish between the two of us. Several doubles with my two pole permit. Fished the bottom until about 10:30 and it died off. after that 99% of our fish came from 10 to 15' below the ice. It sure is fun watching the fish take the jig... Ended up Packing up at 11:30 and heading home. Biggest fish was 25". Most fish were 19 - 21". All Cutt's not a single Rainbow.... Couldn't ask for a better day on the ice....
