I just found this forum and am very excited about having people to share a passion for fishing with. I hate asking for help on my first post, but well I will do it anyway.
I am thinking of heading to Chesterfies tomorrow, but have never been there. Is it worth the drive (from I.F.) or am I better off hitting somewhere closer. Is there a general area that is better to try? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am just excited to get out on the ice. Thanks in advance for any info.

If you scope out some of the older posts you can probably get what you are looking for. Good luck if you head that way and let us know how you do.

Welcome to the forum. You are right it is bad decorum to ask questions first. You should give up all your secrets first and then see if we have anything.[:p] J/K
In all seriousness I have no current info on Chesterfield. Hopefully someone else will chime in that has been there recently.

According to my nephew that LIVES in I.F. you have tons of honey holes all around you, so basically boils down to...do you just want to go for a drive?
Not saying it is a waste of time....fishing is never a waste of time.
But it is FISHING and not CATCHING. Always nice when they agree though[laugh]
