Mud Creek at 7:30, water temp was 41. When I left my house in Ooltewah this morning it was 41, at the ramp I was showing 39. I only got four fish, a good four, two threes, and a two. That's was it! All in about 4 / 6 fow. I never got a bump on a rattle bait!? My 4 came on a spinner bait and jerk bait. Most everyone I saw was {90%}chunking a rattle bait of some sort. I only saw two other boats that even was throwing a spinner bait. Most everyone in the creek was out off the banks in the deeper cuts 8 / 10 fow!? The only person I saw catch a fish, was on a spinner bait in about 2 fow! I saw Jmax there, I think he and his partner said they got 9, so that beat me! A Tx was weighing in from Trenton, the leader had 22 lbs.! He said he caught his on a rattle bait and a jig, shallow and he went out of the creek to the river. I never left the creek. But I well tell you at 8:45 am there was about 20 boats like a row of ducks came roaring in and under the bridge to where ever!? One right behind the other! Looked like circus elephants, trunk to tail! That's all I got!
