Lost Dog...Fish Check

I took My Brother to Lost Dog Friday and Saturday. The fishing was hot again for mac's. We went home with our limits of lakers 3 burbot and 1 rainbow. We ice an estimated 55 fish.
We were stopped at a fish checking station where our fish were weighed and measured.
A fisherman had some pretty nice rainbows.
another guy was being detained by the wyoming fish and game for running the road block. They found live crawdads and minows in his truck. He said he caught the crawdads there and was keeping them alive by feeding them live minnows. Hmmmmm. Sounds like a future world leader to me.

Did you drive through Green River or Lyman, where was the fish check? I'm cool with the fish check but curious if it was just outside of GR. I know that the G&F have been trying to figure out the burbot thing at the Gorge so I'm wondering if was an enforcement deal or burbot study deal.

The check station was at the recreational use-information turn out south of Green River. I think it was more of a Burbot thing. They wanted to open burbot stomachs.

The G&F have a check station at this same spot once or twice every ice fishing season.
