KYLCRAPPIE GUIDE SERVICE
Fishing Report
Now is the time for some great fall crappie fishing, The lake level is at 355 and holding with the water tempters around 64 – 67 DEG. The crappie is finally starting to move in to the shallows and creek channels of 9 to 14 foot of water. Fished with a good friend this past Saturday and boated some nice crappie. All the fish we caught were in 9 to 14 foot with the most productive depths being 11 – 12. We fished mainly on flats and small drops with steak beds. Early in the mornings start out in 8 to 10 foot of water with the baits around a foot of the bottom. Around 10:00 or so move out into 9 to 12 foot of water and keep the baits moving till you find that magic depth and structure, Saturdays best baits were the candy Yellow Hot Head with a Orange/Chart skirt, Orange/Chart Hot Head with orange/chart/green spec skirt, Candy Blue Hot Head with a Black Blue Skirt and The Green Monster, Most Jigs was either tipped with a small shiner or Berkly crappie Bites. It won’t be long until the water and air temps are bitter cold so make sure that life vest is on at all times. Don’t forget to take a kid and let them catch some fun fall crappie. Fall guide trips are being booked so don’t wait.
We can accommodate your lodging and fishing needs in the same area. God bless and good fishing to you all.

Charles
KYLCRAPPIE Guide Service
KYLCRAPPIE@Hotmail.com
teezur@hotmail.com
