weber river 3/21/10
#1
Im new here and new to fly fishing too. I hit up the weber on Sunday and I was the only one there and I did quite well. I caught average size browns and some big white's I was just excited because they were biting on the flies I tied. I fished a red san juan worm size 16 up top and a gray sow bug size 18 on the bottom i tried a few other combinations but this one seemed to work the best. I saw a few fish rising but did'nt try any dry flies I wouldnt have know what to throw at them any ways like I said I'm new to fly fishing. here's a pic!

Beautiful Brown!! welcome aboard.

Little 18-20 black midges or 20 parachute ants are a good choice this time of year for dries.
