Gas Cans for outboard.
#1
I have a 1983 sears 9.9 Ted Williams gamefisher outboard. prior to my ownership somone put a 1.5 gallon plastic tank on the side of the cowling so you fill it up like a mower. LOL. it works okay.

question is, how hard is it to get a boat can and plumb into the motor? it does not appear to have any fittings on it, just barb hose ports so i think i would just have to push the hose on the connection and use a hose clamp on it.
anyone have any idea of how much it may cost to get a 5 gallon can and hoses for it all? I paid 20 bucks for the motor, so i dont want to spend a ton on the tank and hoses, but one with a fuel gauge would be nice.

[#000050]Take the motor down to Boater's World at 7200 South State. They have all the connections to fit most motors as well as hose, bulbs and plastic fuel tanks.[/#000050]
