Cutthroat in Cleveland
#1
Was throwing a fly where the inlet to cleveland reservoir comes in and landed this 5lb cutthroat. I never have caught a cutt out of there befor. I let er' go so she's in there to catch for another day. Just thought I'd share.

Really nice fish Sal, yeah Cleveland can really surprise you at times. We've caught some nice cutts up there, but are few and in between. Here's a picture of a 4 lb'er we got, and one of the normal catchables. As matter of fact up there the other day and between two of us in 3 hrs caught 24, not a keeper in the bunch, but fun.

Nice. Do they get bigger in there because of an abundance of food or are they planted bigger? I've caught some big ones at Huntington and E-Lake but not nearly as often.

they get big in there because of all the suckers in there the lake has been packed with mountan suckers for years.. lol

me and jonny my boy just got back from there.. we took the small baot up and trolled all day jonny had a big cutt on all most to the boat. but he tryed to pull it in too hard and the split ring on the zipfish opened up so it's got a new lip ring.. lol bummer but it put up a great fight... every thing else we caught was just planters..
