where at starvation?
#1
hey I went out to starvation monday and fished rabit point on the north east side and didn't do so well. I am wondering where I should be fishing out there to catch some walleye. Is the south east side of rabbit point better and how do you fish it for the most success.

Around either of the inlets, strawberry river, or duchesne river ought to be good in the early morning and evenings. Rabbit gulch has always been good to me though.

Are you trolling or casting lures? I would recomend casting lindy fuzz-e-grubs tipped with a crawler to the bank, but the trick is to get the lure down below the smallmouth so the eyes have a chance at it before you start to work the lure. If the water temps are high, some of the deeper water drop offs with access to shallow water should be good bets. Theres one in front of rabbit gulch, and theres another good one out in the middle of the lake before you go back into the bay with the duchesne river inlet.

I am fishing out of a float tube and was using a red tube jig with a nightcrawler and a spinner blade. How far down are the eyes this time of year?
