I want more panfish

I've been going for catfish for the longest time, but recently I started trying for panfish. I've been using lures.
I've had a little luck but not much. I'm not very experienced
yet but I'm still out there trying. I'm fishing out of a pond
behind a buddy's house. I get brim, crapy, and 5 to 7 lb
bass. If anyone has any suggestions I'm wide open for them. I'd really like to get this right. It's too hot to come home empty handed.
