Bear lake
#1
Took my new to me boat out for its bear lake Maiden voyage today. New downriggers, fish finder, and positive attitude with back problems under control.

Launched a little late (8 am) but managed to troll up one native cutt and a white fish. Trolled from 50-75 feet and marked tons of fish but the bite was slow for us. Fun day regardless and enjoyed my time with the wife.

I have a pic or two but nothing worthy of posting.

Boat was much slower than I am used to but I think this one is manageable for a cripple like me. LOL, ya right!

we just got back as well... Cuddy Buddy did best, landed a mac and a native cut too. The cut measured 21" and was kissed and let go with out a snap shot. The laker was 20". We hit the water at 6:30 and downrigged the rockpiles till about 8:30 and then went over east and trolled Cisco beach in 60 to 90 feet of water where both fish were landed. We also missed two other fish. The mac was caught on an orange spoon.... the cut on pop gear and a small spoon. Great day and calm seas. Was nice to have a fish pop the downrigger clips just like it's supposed to.
