Halls Creek - Powell
#1
Had good success with stripers three mornings in Halls Creek. Last years Bullfrog Bay spots came up empty, but Halls Creek (past the islands about 1/2 way back) was real good with fish holding in 40'-50' in about 60' water.
Graphics is key, and once you find them it's game on with spoons or anchovies. Lots of drag rippin tug with plenty of doubles and a few lost lures and fish to sloppy knot tying.
Ended with 50 fish from 21" to 28" - plenty to clean.
