I've never fished Hyrum and we're thinking about taking the boat tomorrow. What techniques are good and what parts of the lake are worth trying? I'd prefer not to troll.
Thanks,
Justin

I've had a couple posts on Hyrum outings in the last couple weeks. (last one)
You can do well trolling, there's lots of fresh and frisky planter bows. But you can also do well jigging or pitching spinners. Depends on what you want to target - bass, trout, perch? Pitching a fly can produce too.
We did well dragging lines along the south shore, but I've seen lots of fish toward the inlet area. The bite really seemed to come on around dusk.
