Fishing Report 10-22-10

Launched out of Hemingway around 6:15, it was very crowded at the launch area. About 10-12 boats at the same time were trying to get out fishing. Park Rangers were in the area chasing down boat after boat, flashing the cherries.

Trolled some, cast some sassy shad plastics in the coves. Went up to Vegas Wash got 3 Gizzard Shad but could not find the fish.

Saw the Trophy boat at the launch on the way back.
Said hi to Derrick but he said you had to work.
Well you didn't miss much we were of the water by 8:30.

Thanks for reporting[cool] sorry for that comment about the rangers doin nothing. They do their job, just meet a few that are milkers. Too bad about not findin any bass. How big were the gizzards? And did you see any bank tanglers around 33 hole?

Gizzard Shad were about 3-1/2 to 4".

Saw one guy just west of 33 hole, a Coyote was sneaking up to him.

Thanks [cool] I took my predator call out there once to pass time called in a yote within 15-20 yds soon as it caught my drift it took off like a bat outa hell. I also learned to keep my bluetick hound on his leash first time out he took chase after a pack of yotes if he hadent burrowed the poor things and bawled I would of never found him.
