Has anyone built a motor mount to store your motor on? We have a 25HP Honda. Trying to decide best way to build one, or find a cheap one to buy. If you have input, please let me know.

It depends on what kind of material you have laying around but the saw horse type is the easiest to build. For a motor as big as you have, it might be a good idea to make one of metal. I'll post some pictures of one of the metal type tomorrow.

Buy a cheap hand truck and bolt a 2x4 across the top rail to clamp the motor to . Now you have a motor stand that makes it easy to move the motor where ever you want . Curt G.

The wooden one has the same legs on the opposite side, it was what I used before I got my metal one. Not sure where you can buy the metal type mount but the part for the wooden one should be at any hardware store. Here are the pictues:

We did that with our 6 hp motor, but it took allot of bracing, a 25 might need more than just bolting a 2 X 4. But it is a sweet idea.
