I met up with Catfish1 at a cold Possum Creek Ramp this morning about 6:30 to do a little crappie huntin' It was a balmy 27* but very little wind
so it wasn't too bad. We fished deep structure most of the day which seemed to be where the fish wanted to be, We used 1/32nd & 1/16th with
BG MoGlo Ghost, Cajun Criket, Outlaw Special and a couple on Patroit. Count was mostly an 8 but late in the morning we went to about a 12. Water temp was 53* - 56* without a lot of current and wind to make it too difficult to hold the boat. Met up with M17Glock and they were catchin' fish too. Ended the day with a total of 67. Throw back count was around 15% that were under 10 inches, emoThumbsup A lot of the fish were over 12 and heavy. I almost had my 21st TARP of the year, he looked to be over 15 inches and I had two witnesses, but while trying to lift him over the side, (without the net, like a dummy), he broke off and swam away, emoAngry Did have several that were over 13 and one was 13 3/4" All in all a very nice day of catchin' emoThumbsup All fish returned to the deep to play another day, emoParty emoThumbsup
