I came by Echo yesterday, several people fishing the upper end about mid way accross the lake and several groups on the East side along the rocks near the dam.

Drove by Echo today.............lots of people out on the ice, mostly up by the damn but also at the inlet. I guess the ice is safe don't know for sure the thickness though. Good luck.

Hey Goose, we hit it Friday for about 2 hrs 11-1pm about the worst time of day. We caught 15 between 3 of us and some really nice ones. We fished at the second turn off just up from the damn. We were in about 35' of water (which is about 50' from shore) but only fishing 10-15' down. I caught the biggest ones using a green Genz ice jig tipped with half rotten worm and single salmon egg (best combo out there). My buddy was getting more action but smaller fish was using a white paddle bug tipped with wax worm down about the same depth.
One thing i will say is they were hitting HARD! there is no mistaking the hits hahaha!!! Good luck man and go slay them now that you know what to use. [signature]
