Who The start of the New Year could not come soon enough for outdoor recreation and boating enthusiast, with the region's largest and most acclaimed sporting gear and water craft exhibitions set for January.
The 2011 Austin Boat Show returns to the Austin Convention Center on January 20-23 featuring over 400 water craft spanning 200,000+ sq. ft. The event has now combined with the Central Texas Hunting and Fishing Show, resulting in an event with an entirely new element of outdoor fun.
Set in the heart of the annual boat-buying season, the Boat Show will include cruisers, sailboats, fishing boats, wakeboard boats, ski boats, runabouts and personal watercraft. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, to enjoy activities such as the Coastal Fishing Roundtable, Boater Safety and Education Courses, 'Nobody's Waterproof' Interactive Display and numerous activities for children such as the live catfish tank.
Cost of admission is $8 for adults // $4 for seniors (65+) and children ages 7-12 // FREE for children under age 7.
