Hi Joco, I am based in Europe, Ireland in fact and have experience buying stuff in Europe. your link above is for a site based in Asia (China, Taiwan, korea Etc) and their prices are excellent, PROVIDED YOU BUY AT LEAST 100 UNITS off them and then sell them on your own time. They are retail wholesalers, their quality of make is pretty good, as they usually make tubes for all the big companies and they companies kindly pass on the additional prices to joe public!

I know there is a german company selling Belly Boats as they call them and they look ok, there is also a newish company called BISON who do the BISON Float Tube.

Personally I wasn't sure about that tube and settles on an ODC 420, but in saying that I have just ordered a pair of their BISON neoprene chest waders and got a great deal on them!

If you need any help on European stuff, let me know.

Hi Irish_Tubey, welcome.
I'm a Dublin based float tube angler also. Maybe we have already met on the water?

In answer to the original post:
I'm Euro side too, and yet I also saw fit to buy my tube from a US company, in this case Bucks Bags.
It doesn't matter if they are still made in the far east, the quality control varies according to the buying power of the business making the purchase from the manufacturer.
It's common to see twin levels of quality control on the same product from far east. In my occupation I see it all the time.
In tubes this would be twin stitching where triple exists on the same more costly version from the branded seller.
It all depends on how long you expect these items to last and what value you place on your safety. I have a high value on quality, and always buy from the branded seller, even though price is higher than the grey market version of same. I have learned that the cheaper one is NOT the exact same!
Just sayin'
