Got to the lake at seven AM and fished till 3 pm drilled couple dozen holes, and fished in 90 feet of water to next to shore. I had one nibble. Tryed glowing lures, jigs tiped with sucker meat then worms, only had the one nibble. Same thing for my friend Bobert. EXCEPT, went to leave and there was an 27 inch ling on his lne. had a belly bigger than mine, and it had 4 old rotten sucker fillets, 6 crayfish, 5 inch fish bones, and other assorted goo.
I saw one other dink laker caught. Ther were probably well over 150 people and tons of wheelers on the 6 through 9 inch clear slipery ice.
It was a grait day fishing, but catching was not so good. If you were there hope you had better catching than me.

A fishless day still makes a GRAIT. day. joe
