DMAD and Gunnison Bend Ice Fishing?

I've heard these lakes have both yellow perch and crappie in them. Has anyone iced fished them before and if so how was it?

I'm from Delta and I've fished DMAD hundreds of times and Gunnison Bend more than a few. I've never ice fished either of them but I'm going to remedy that in a week or two. For the record, I've caught the same fish both places. Carp, white bass, small mouth bass, and catfish. I've heard the same things about the perch and that the occasional walleye and even trout make it that far down the river but I've never seen it with my own two eyes. If you beat me down there let me know how it goes.

i was out working at IPP in oct.. nether lake had any water in them.. more like a muddy ditch running though them..
