I hit the Berry Saturday with my granddaughter, a friend from work and his son. We got a late start, didn't wet a hook until 10:30. It was slow, a few hits. Then finally hooked into a 17" cut and let the granddaughter reel it in.

Then later she hooked into a nice 18" bow. She was pretty proud she did it all on her own. She out fished the guys. Not bad for a 10 year old. Here is a picture of her trophy. Nothing like the on her face, she made her Papa proud. I think she's hooked.

It looks like you were over in the meadows on the renegade side. We plan to hit that same spot on Saturday. I can see that you were on snowmobiles. Did the snow look ok for an atv? Thanks,

Excellent! It is a great feeling to get your kids hooked on the outdoors (especially fishing) instead of being plugged into various electronic devices. Way to go!
