The Berry from Sunday
#1
I got off work at 2 a.m. and decided to opt for no sleep. Left for the Berry at 3:30 a.m. Met up with the other boyz in Heber and headed towards the Ladders. Got out there in the dark and set-up ice camp in the channel. Didn't really mark many fish till it got light. They'd come through in schools as all the flasher would light up. The crappy thing was they were all about 10 inch rainbows.

Sometime around noon, I was like screw this.....headed towards my old honey hole in Chicken Creek. Dropped in and pulled out an 18 inch Cutty. My other buddy then pulled out another 18 incher. I decided to change to a larger white tube jig and tip it with a half minnow. That was the ticket for four fish in a row ranging from 19 to 20 inches. We caught a few more then it slowed. Move shallow before dark and hooked a few more. I let a younger boy drop down my hole with the Marcum and he pulled out a 21 incher, his first fish and biggest of the day. That made my day!

I also met this dude that goes by "Steedo." He's a cool guy. I could listen to him bs all day long. Anyone know him?
