[fishin]

The temp was about 27 about noon so I think it had to be in the single digits in the monring. The ice was about 14" thick. We fished the narrows where there was 2" of snow that was crusty on top. Wax worms and small green mighty mite w/ orange head seemed to work the best. The wind blew most of the day but it wasn't strong. Went with several guys from work and my 8 year old grand son, who started it off by catching the first fish, a 17" bow. He was pretty excited. He hooked 3 fish on his own and ended up with the biggest of the day, an 18" bow. It was awesome. I had more fun watching him catch fish than catching my own. It was a fair fishing day, fishing not real fast. Here are some pics.

Thanks, I've only had mine about 2 weeks and used it twice so far. I do like it , was just wondering how it worked in the wind. I'm thinking about going up to the berry hopefully this weekend and try it out up there.

I have a quick flip and had had it set up in some
Strong wind it did well. I found that if you lay it out flat and
Anchor the corners before you start piping the sides out it makes putting it up in the wind easy. Mine came with two ropes and two extra anchors and I used them to hold the two sides that faced the wind.

Yeah we had our quick fish pop up out this weekend also and it got pretty windy and kept caving in the sides until we anchored them on the outside and then we had no problems at all.
