Fished about two hours, with nothing first hour. Finally located fish with flasher unit suspended at 15 - 20 feet over very deep water, 90 - 100 feet. They hit fluorescent orange teardrop with wax worm and salmon powerbait, but the fastest and hardest hitting action was on FROZEN KRILL from Petsmart on either plain hook or 1/32 oz pink and white head jig. Caught about 12 the last hour, with two lost to broken 6 lb test line. For some reason, the bite was light on other bait but they hit the krill very hard, really jerking the pole around.
Location - south end of reservoir, off the state park marina.[fishin]

Nice report. Were they all rainbows? We haven't tried the frozen krill, we'll have to get some.
