Horsethief report
#1
Took the little girl for her first Ice trip yesterday. Ended up at Horsethief, and she tore them up. Fish were biting pretty seriously until noon, then slowed a bit. All the usual baits (night crawler chunks, powerbait, meal worms) on smaller jig heads seemed to be the ticket. Fish were at all depths, but I think we got more bites 6-7 feet below the ice than any other depth.

someone had driven all the way to the lake, but everyone else parked at the fork in the road and walked the 1/2 mile in. Road is packed and hard- easy walking.

Great day.
