Oakley Res - What should I expect?

Headed to Oakley Res this weekend and I've never been. Am I going to see ice or open water? If open water, do I need to bring the boat? Any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

In case anyone was wondering...about half the reservoir was frozen. A guy could launch a boat but would only have access to 1/2 the water. We fished a couple hours and caught a handful of trout. Then the snow & wind forced us to give up early.

Thanks for the report. Which half of the lake is frozen still? Up by the dam, down past the boat launch half, or is it the whole middle area? It seems like the wind there is always a pit, or maybe it is just most of Idaho?
