Ririe 3-6-11
#1
I was getting ready to watch the race today when the phone rang. It was a buddy of ming and he wanted to hit Ririe so I thought why not. Dropped are first pole into the hole around 1pm. Picked off a couple of singles than nothing for around a hour. Than a school came in and the decided they would stay for a little wile. Pulled out 10 in about 15 min than they were gone. We sat there for a little wile longer did not see much and were gone by 3:30 pm. Missed the race but had another great trip on the ice [Image: smiley.gif] [Image: smiley.gif].

a scout group in my neighborhood went yesterday. They caught a bunch of tiny ones. How big were yours? Glad you got into them. I will be there tomorrow night removing the ice house.

Went last night for an hour and a half. Didn't catch anything.

The one's we got were all around 12"- 13". I have been out 5 times in the last 10 day's the fishing has been great got our limits each time out. I think I am starting to figure out the kokes now to work on the perch. How has the perch fishing been for you this season?

The Koke fishing has been really good for me most of the time. The perch fishing has been slow. I know where they are and I can find them with no problem. Getting them to bite is another problem. I got two new Jason Mitchell Perch rods, but I probably won't be able to use them until next year. There should be some huge ones next year. I plan on getting another underwater camera (old one broke) in order to observe them and see what is going on. I know I am obsessed.
