hey everyone i am new to las vegas. i am an avid fisherman from california and found out about willow beach. wondering if anyone was willing to throw me a bone and give me a couple pointers for this weekend or was willing to maybe meet up sometime. i have two kayaks if anyone is interested in showing me the ropes sometime. thanks.

Welcome [cool] Willow beach can be hit or miss mostly miss but if you do hook up it will be a nice one. Maybe some of the willowheads can chime in on specifics. Take a look at the acplug page.

Ya thanks for the heads up. It ended just being a scenic day with great weather due to me forgetting about the Arizona stamp. Oh well it was good to just paddle around and see the area. I'd love to learn to fish it tho. The acplug page? Sorry ya I'm the new guy

thanks for the heads up on that website. fish hard and long thats the only way to go!! are yall just going for the big striper out there at willow or for other things too. i heard there are other things out there to catch where you dont need a 50$ bait and 30 lb line. lol do yall have boats for mead or will my kayak suit me just fine? thanks for all the feedback guys. hope to see you all out there.

Everyone is goin for the striper out at willow, cant imagine why anyone would bother tryin to catch anything else...meh, well trout I guess.. your kayak will be fine at mead, I see peepz on them all the time fairly close to shore so.
