hi everyone thanks for having me on this fishing forum am looking forward to learning as much as i can from all of u and share my experiences. i so happen to have one that i would like to share. i caught this fish and i can not figure what type of fish it is but it was heavy on my line it kind of looks like an eel with a fish tail and sorta resembles the barracuda i am attaching these picture with the hope someone can help me

welcome to the Site!!!!! I have no clue what that fish is i have never seen one before. but i can tell you it is no barracuda. dont forget to visit the board for your sate.

thank u very much i had actually found out what type of fish it is it is called a sand tilefish. it looks so much like an eel with its shapes and fins it thing they call it also a sandy eel thanks for ur help

if it had whiskers Id say it was a white catfish.. but since it doesnt Im not sure.. but possibly in that family...
