All I have been hearing lately is second hand reports and sounds like most people are getting skunked. Is this why nobody has been posting any reports? I've got one more trip this spring and I've been waiting patiently for some good reports, so has anybody been catching any and where?

The weather has been holding me back mostly. Saturday we fished right above Salmon and landed 1, lost 3 and missed 2 more and then the weather turned and chased us off the river. Sunday was a lot cooler and the water was definitely dirtier and the fishing was horrible. Not a single bite.... I am hoping for better water this weekend as we are planning to head up river and give it a try.

we were above challis friday and saturday. River was coming up which was really good only problem was that friday was perfect hooked 6 landed a couple, then saturday came and the weather was horrible. I can fish in snow and rain which thats all it did was rain or snow and the wind howled. I couldnt feel anything. buddy caught one thought he was snagged but fish just held on for about 5 minutes. lol well im not headed up there for 2 weeks. gunna let this last cold snap get out of here. plus there isnt a bunch of fish up there.

Thanks for the reports. I was hoping for better reports but at least there are a few fish being caught. I think I will head up next Friday and Saturday and fish between Salmon and Challis, I am taking a couple of rookies with me so wish me luck.

Headed up tomorrow afternoon through wed. Anyone heard about the pasemeroi area? Not sure where to start out tomorrow, I mostly fish the canyon, but not this late in the season. Any advice on where to go tomorrow? I'm thinking salmon and above but not sure on specifics.

The fish are really late this year. They are still being caught below North Fork. Anywhere from Salmon up river and you will be able to get into fish. Should be good and have little traffic to worry about during the week. Good luck. I wish I could get away from work this week and go as I didn't get to fish much this past weekend.
