Had today off so we went on a road trip to check ice conditions at Scofield. The lake you could see had receded about 4 feet from the shore but had recently froze again. We found no open water anywhere and still a whole lot of snow everywhere. Looks like its still way early.[crazy]

seriously?! i heard of open water, but thanks for ruining my weekend plans with that news. i guess it beats finding out this way than by driving up there myself saturday
