Fishlake 4/16 full of fish

Four of us limited over an over again today. Mostly splake 14-17 range. A few bows. Didn't try for perch. Caught at all depths.
Ice 14 to 20 inches thick. No slush on top. Got to watch the edges. We took snowmobiles out on to the ice near Doctor campground. No problems. Spooky driving through puddles even when you know the ice is thick.
Saw 4 other groups near the far end of the lake [north or east which ever direction it is]. Looked like they were fishing the weed line.
Some wind. Just a great day out on the ice. Going to miss it in a few weeks......

How thick was the ice? Any open water around lakeside marina?

We took home our limit and we caught and released so many fish we stopped counting.

Ice was 14 to 20 inches thick.
The marinas had some edges that were melting enough you wouldn't want to walk out in those areas. Not melted enough to fish in the open water.
