I'm looking for a Berry report... just bought a motorhome and wanted to drag the boat up this weekend. Is the water open yet? How's the fishing been... any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cool wet weather in the forcast for the next week tells me it will probably still be 3-4 weeks before you can boat the berry.

I drove by Strawberry in the rain storm on my way to SLC on monday. The lake was still completely covered with rotten looking (greenish) ice and no snow. On my way back tuesday the lake was covered with a very thin blanket of new snow. I didn't see any open water at the ladders. I saw two guys fishing the Soldier Creek side. It is going to be a little while yet before there is open water.

You can see by the reports that it will be a while yet to launch at Strawberry. You have options though, Deer Creek is ice free, as well as East Canyon, and Jordanelle
