bass fishing

hey guys! i just moved to rexburg idaho for school and would like to find a place close to do some bass fishing. can anyone reccomend areas. I plan on doing alot of trout fishing but i love bass fishing more. is this area of the sanke good for smallmouth?

Ririe has a ton of 10" smallmouth not very many over 12." I caught a few hundred last summer and only caught 5 over 12." There are some smallmouth on the snake below IF. If you want bigger bass you need to go to the Preston area or the snake below American Falls.

I know of one spot closer to I.F. that has bass in the 2-4# range, but I don't share it with everyone. I've also heard rumors of bass in that size a little further downstream but haven't had a chance to pick the area apart to find out for sure. I'm always looking for fishing buddies so let me know if you want to get out sometime. I'm usually free Mondays and Tuesdays and every other weekend.

Im a student up in the burg too but am off track right now, once the sledding is done for the spring Ill be fishing 2 to 3 times a week but trout only. If your looking for some one to fish with shoot me a PM on here.
