Can anyone tell me when to go to SFGR to fish for crappie, walleye, perch? Planning on staying overnight camping from Idaho Falls. Thanks in advance.

June is a safe bet. I went a couple weeks ago and nothing is biting. Well you might get a trout but if you want the ones you specified. They might start biting sometime in may but June is a much safer bet. Good luck. Ron

I caught several last year but nothing like Strike normally is. I got skunked at SFCR last time I went. So far this year I am running a skunk streak in my toon and tube. I haven't caught a fish yet this year out of either one. I stink!

Ron keep getting in the water and the stink is bound to wash off sooner or later. I think I will take my toon to CJ on Sunday and see if something is hungry.

Had to watch my son in the Scottish Games this morning. It was his first time and he got 2nd over all in the novice division. So a job well done!

Actually took it out this afternoon, down to the backwaters. Gloria and her brother came down and took some pictures, so I could see how the boat road.

Have some minor adjustment, but it felt good. It will be tight for 2 but it "might" work. When I sit on the pedestal the boat seems happy and quit stable even when I stand.
There was a good breeze there but I didn't go out in the chop, need to take care of some things first.

Water temp was 41.

Boy is the road in nice. BLM or whom ever really has done a nice job.

Wow the water cooled off. A couple weeks ago it was 46 at the backwaters. I can't wait for it to warm up. Ron
