Went out towards Stanley yesterday and ended up catching 3 steellies at Sunbeam. I'm not quite sure why the fish and game extended the season because it doesn't seem like there are many fish left and there was nobody out there fishing. Sunbeam was the only place where there was a crowd and it wasn't bad. Maybe 10 people. I saw about 10 fish caught total yesterday. I sprained my ankle on an ice covered rock trying to land my first fish yesterday morning about 7 am. So that made for a long day. I forgot my camera "as usual" so I didn't get any pics. Nothin special though, just the average 24-25 inch fish. 2 of them were hatchery but I let them go. Pretty rough shape. In my opinion the extended season isn't worth it.
