Took US129 up towards the Dragon stopping at the cold clear water lake of Chilhowee.<br />This is one of my favorite lakes to fish for trout.<br />Drove over here yesterday to check on the water conditions to find that the lake temporarily has no boat access.<br />I was really bummed out about that but refused to give up so easily.<br />Decided to return this evening with rods in hand and wait for night fall.<br />Did my fishing with live crawlers hooked wacky style on a 32nd wide gap.<br />I&#39;ve got to say this turned out to be one of the most relaxing and enjoyable trips of the year.<br />Just something about that undeveloped mountain lake with the smell of a campfire drifting across the water at night.<br />Good stuff there.<br />And the trout!<br />
