Sandhollow Is Going Off

Hit Sandhollow on Tuesday dodging storms as they rolled by, it is going off there. Bass are shallow in the flooded brush and reed stands. Crappie are in post spawn stagged around 20 ft, and bluegill are moving in for their first spawn of the year. Between two of us we caught 50 plus bass biggest just over 4 1/2 lbs best five around 16.5 lbs, 50 plus crappie 12"-14", and 1 big bluegill. Bass ate every reaction bait you could think of except for topwaters, also caught a few pitching creature baits in bright colors. Crappie were nailing a variety of small plastics but seemed to prefer nuetral colors subdued whites/mossy green. Tried to attach a couple pics.

Thanks for the post man. One of my co workers went to Sand Hollow with her brother last week. They had a really good outing as well. I'm thinking of heading to Sand Hollow on my next trip. We will see.
