Lindon Boat Harbor
#1
First let me say thanks to the owners of the harbor for letting the Orem youth fishing club use their harbor for free last night. Two of the six weeks of class are held at the harbor each year.

Fishing was pretty slow for the class as even the normal Bluegill didn't want to play. A few White bass and a Sunfish were all that was caught where the group I was with were.

However around eight as the class was ending my brother's group of kids found the White bass and what they wanted. A inch and a half green curley tail jig was the hot ticket. They would also hit pink and white but not as well. As the sun went down and the waves picked up everyone went home except me. I continued to fish until there was nothing left of my jig and decided to try something larger again. I couldn't get the White bass to hit the three and a half inch chartreuse jig but I did get a fat 22 inch Walleye. Fattest Walleye I have ever seen. Turned her back and called it a night.

Another side note Out4aFloat found a container of jigs. If you lost one and can identify what and where you lost it he would like to get it back to the owner. Should be very easy for the owner due to some of the content.

Thanks for the report and congrats on the walleye.

I was there at the harbor between 4:30-6pm and couldn't scare up any crappies or gills either. I did finally manage to get into some whities just like you guys did.

I will contact Out4aFloat about that tackle box. Thanks for picking that up for me.

Sounds like you left just as the kids were getting started.

Check your PM's.
