Hello All!
I found this site looking for advice for fishing in the Southern Nevada area. My family and I live in Las Vegas and would really like to get into fishing regularly! My Partner is an experienced fisherman, but the kids and my self are not! Hoping to glean enough info to catch 'the big one' and hopefully I'll post a pic of my 5 year old holding it!
Looking forward to good times!!!

[cool] welcome ladyluna, if you are looking to hook up your kids with "the big one" then carp seem to be our hottest scaley friend as of late, they are big, plentiful and fairly easy to catch assuming you have a can of kernal corn handy. we are curently trying to get a "carp fest" goin here in the near future. so keep posted and watch our forum for more info. check the link out below. carp are great fun for children as well as adults who just want to feel a fish pull on thier line[fishin]
