East Canyon
#1
Fished East Canyon Thrusday, from a boat. Very slow, landed 4 of last falls planters. Very fat and very full of daphnia, healthy. Only pop gear and worms worked of what I tried. The old standby of flasher and fly or flasher and rapala, not even a strike.

The best for me was accross from the bay that goes under the road, on the other side of the resevoir, in front of the cottonwoods.

Another gentleman did good in the first inlet bay east of the boot dock.

The wind made things tough, especially on a two poles.

The road from Parleys over Big Mountain is still closed, so went the Morgan way, Loooonnnng. Returned the Henefer, Coleville, Parleys, seemed faster???

If nothing else, the boat ran excellent for a first trip.

No it isn't. I drove it a couple of weeks ago before the big runoffs we have had so I don't know what condition it is in now. It was great when I used the road then.

There is only one small section along there that is not private and open for fishing.

The mormon flat monument and picnic area. There is a small parking lot there. It gets a lot of pressure.Haven't stopped to fish it for years now.
