what is this fish?

was out fishing today and caught this baby fish. anyone know what it is?

I have caught these my self, that is a fine specimen, that is as big as the get.

I knew the name of them but it escapes me at the moment.

I catch them where I fish for trout.

It is not a ruffe or a white perch,

it is not an invasive species but so far off the radar it barely gets notice other than being a bait steeler in streams. they like moving water near rocky terrain

what state did you catch him out of?

Looks like a Perch to me, but those eyes!!! Maybe a Walleye? Heck I am a trout girl...LOL

they do look like baby walleye, and that was what I thought they were when I first came across them,

a fellow trout angler told me what they were.

Walleye, yet reminds me of that catfish that follows the urine streem up the pee hole,from rivermonsters episode.,,....allways pee down streem....Paulpro...[Image: bobwink.gif]
