pallisades and alexander
#1
Drove by both yesterday. PalliSades is coming up quick and you can launch a boat there. Water was off color for sure but looked better than I expected. Alexander is also pretty full it looks. Water to the hiway and onto the other side in the spot you cross. Was not able to stop at either place. We should have pretty full reservoirs for the rest of the summer now.

Cool thanks, did Alexander look off color as well. Last time I stopped by there it was still a muddy river.

I fished it today for a bit and stuck a few carp on the flyrod. Water looked pretty good as long as the carp werent nearby. A ton of people were fishing by the bridge byt im not sure how the fishing was for them. If you want to catch carp they are everywhere in the flats.

Nice to hear on the carp and the cats.

FFF, what was working good for the carp. I haven't tried catching them on purpose yet, and I am interested in giving it a try.

Caught a really nice smallmouth at Alexander this morning. After that it went dead for two hours and I couldn't even get the carp to take anything.

What's the best method to catch cats out there?

I found chicken liver or worms. The carp turn on BIG TIME after dark if ur using worms u have to plan on the carp as well. Don't know as for day time. I'm usually showing up around 9pm staying passed midnight.

The kitties are everywhere in that place. Ive done the best on the upper end but with the low flows this yr i went to the deeper water.

Whenever you wanna go shoot me a pm a day or so before and ill try to fit it in. I'm either there or in preston chasing the kitties/eyes. just let me know...
