Went up there this morning armed to catch a walleye and succeeded, trolled storm wild eyes and landed 5 fish nothing big but i was excited most fish i have ever caught in a day . around 11 the walleye kinda quit biting so moved on to trout and landed over 20 pan size fish on needle fish and buoyant spoons .

That looks like fun. How deep were you going to catch the walleye?

It was fun but i just need to find where the bigger ones are hanging out at. They were pulled from 38 to 42 feet if my fish finder is very accurate

Wow, deeper than I thought they would be. I see I am going to have to tear myself away from streams and get back out on some of the reservoirs.

Nice reports, thanks!!

When we troll for trout we pick up down 10 foot but most of them hold really deep. I think traffic on the reservoir has a lot to do with it. On really busy days with a lot of boat traffic even the trout go deep. Oakley is a really great place im sure you would love it. your very welcome [Smile]

Why you were fishing your Dad and I were working on my Grandma's roof. [Smile] You looked familiar to me now I know why. We should go fishing together sometime.
