Very nice! I love that the fishin gods always give the biggest fish to the Newbs just to get them hooked into fishing! Same thing happened to my wife & I. She hated fishing, until she hooked into the Biggun! Congrats!

Wow, nice fish and now that you have her hooked, good luck not staying home any more when you are off. It is always nice to have a lady catch a fish. My wife caught her first largemouth at Lake Powell in 97'. Still loves to fish and catch the bigguns. I sent it in to Doug Miller at the time and he placed it on his show saying "A ladies first bucket mouth deserves air time". [cool] My daughter is the same way. She caught her first smallmouth bass last week.

PM sent. Good luck out there. Here is some picture proof of our success out at Utah Lake. See you all out on the water.

I think I was out at the saratoga springs harbor the night you caught the one in the last pic. White bass were on fire but there were a couple bass and a few crappie and gills hangin around too.

You spotted us (that was back when we had long hair) and as I recall that day we were fishing off the south dike at Saratoga and picked up 63 White Bass, 1 Green Sunfish and 1 LMB in about 4 hours of fishing. I hope your not the guy who told us that the Green Sunfish we caught was a Bluegill (if so no worries, we all make mistakes). That was one of the best days fishing for White Bass of the season. Now the White Bass are mostly gone, but the Black Bullhead/Channel Cats and Bluegills have picked up. The large catch rates is just one of the many reasons why we fish there. Next time you see us on the water, don't be afraid to say hello.....as long as your not too far away. Attatched is a picture of the Green Sunfish.
