Looks more like a cutt to me - check out the spots and the bit of orange under the jaw. Maybe a hybrid.

Awesome fish! I heard he was in a boat when he caught it, possibly trolling. Either way that is one big toad. Good job on landing that fish.

Wow! What a fish!

What I think is the coolest is that it isn't disproportionate for its size. It has been eating good on a regular basis for quite awhile. I wonder how old it is??

Now all of the ice fishermen know where all the perch went!!!!!

Almost doubtlessly, I would wager, and I would additionally submit there needs to be a separate record for genetic mutants.

All I know is it would be a rush on a fly rod....like a 6 wt cause chances are that is what one would be using.

That's a hog. Looks like a cuttbow...
What ever happened with the Boise River (below LP dam) rainbow pig from Thanksgiving, 3-4 years back? It was close to this one, maybe a few lbs lighter but definitely rainbow.
Estimated at around 29 lbs I think.
Saw it in the Idaho Statesman with some controversy on how it was taken plus not weighing it immediately...

Hey, Biglew, I recognize that picture on your avatar. Hope things are well with you. We'll just keep on bringing in those big browns on the fly, eh?!

Nothing genetically altered on that bad boy brown!

Kelly.
